DEDCOOL

As the name suggests this latest fragrance brand to arrive on our shores is, well, way cool. Genderless, with strong sustainability credentials, water-free formulations and vegan ingredients, DedCool will strike a chord with conscious consumers who still want everything to smell good. From Mecca, meccabeauty.co.nz.

SHISEIDO

It’s hard to find a lipstick with staying power that doesn’t end up caking and drying your lips. Recommended is Shiseido’s new TechnoSatin Gel Lipstick – it glides on, nourishes and is longlasting. Bonus: there are 20 shades to choose from. $56 from Life Pharmacy, lifepharmacy.co.nz.

ABEL

Black Anise is the new scent from New Zealand-based fragrance producer Abel. Described as “an unexpected, darker, moodier and more sultry scent” than you would normally associate with Abel’s releases to date, it combines a tobacco base with “smoky amber, star anise top notes, and a black currant and cacao heart”. 50ml $270 from nz.abelodor.com.

ESSANO

Kiwi natural skincare brand Essano has created a true with Happy Skin. Fun colourful packaging makes you want all four products that also cover all the bases with a cleanser, serum, day cream and toning mist. From $23 from essano.co.nz.

TOM FORD

Combining four finishes – sparkle, satin, shimmer and matte – the Tom Ford Eye Color Quad is now available in new shades. Pictured is Golden Hour, which epitomises the quads’ mix of tonal colours enabling you to achieve multiple looks. $168 from Smith & Caughey’s, smithandcaugheys.co.nz.
