My husband Scott and I are in the very early stages of our forever home renovation. I have a folder full of pages from different home magazines, including many from NZ House & Garden, that have inspired me. Like the Waiheke Island home (right) in the April issue with its treasures full of memories. And the beautiful kitchen [designed by Natalie Du Bois, in the special kitchen feature]. I love the natural look of wood cabinetry with wood floors and a stone kitchen island – calming, warm, a sanctuary.
