Delma and Jonathan provide the following tips on the best way to achieve maximum protection for the next 6 months by following a spray programme with the help of Grosafe’s Insecticide Range.

Grosafe’s GroVentive® Garden isa new, two way systemic insecticide, with a high level of safety to bees. Using GroVentive® Garden will control and prevent re-infestation of chewing and sucking insects, protecting your plants for up to 4 - 6 weeks.

Grosafe’s BioNeem® is an organic certified insecticide registered for use on all fruit and vegetable crops and ornamentals to control chewing and sucking insects. BioNeem® has antifeeding and repellent properties.

Grosafe’s EnSpray 99® Spraying Oil, is another certified organic insecticide for controlling chewing and sucking insects on your edible crops and ornamentals. EnSpray 99® inhibits eggs, nymphs and adult insects and mites breathing resulting in suffocation, as well as affecting feeding and egg laying.

GroVentive® Garden is the foundation spray and we recommend using this for the initial treatment early in the season to protect against insect infestation. Monitor pest pressure and repeat again 3-4 weeks later and up to 3 to 4 sprays during the growing season if insect pressure is persistent. For enhanced performance and efficacy we strongly encourage using it with Grosafe EcoSpread®.

For all edible crops and ornamentals, apply BioNeem® when the pests are first seen and reapply 1-2 weeks later if necessary. Apply EnSpray 99® every 3-4 weeks to protect your edible crops and ornamentals.

Both BioNeem® and EnSpray 99® are contact sprays so good coverage is essential. EcoSpread® enhances the performance of these insecticides, as well as having a 30 minute rainfastness after spraying.
