Our giant iris

The tubers were poked in the back of a garden and I forgot about them though I meant to move them to a more suitable place. Nek minnit these huge stalks appeared above the fence, above everything growing along the fence line – from the ground to the top of the flowers, 2.5m. Once they’ve finished flowering, I will move them into full sun, so they are not behind everything else.
